Well you might have misread the post and you might be here expecting a young lady or man ready and willing to explain what they would do for you to get your rocks off! Sorry, wrong, but I will tell you ten things you didnt know about Virgin, the company.

1. Virgin America - Well if your English you might not have hear of this one but if you're American you probably have. Ultra cool and modern US domestic Airline based in San Francisco. A bit like Easyjet but less Orange! Virgin America
2. Virgin Charter - No you can't hire a girl for an hour but you can book a jet to get you from New York to Memphis, have a Martini and get an inflight Massage without some kid screaming two seats away. Unless you have your own that is. Virgin Charter
3. Virgin Health Bank - Store your babies Stem Cell's, not sure on this ones a bit weird and feels slightly wrong! Virgin Health Bank
4. Virgin Balloon Flights - Dont run out of puff or are you fed up of all my hot air? Virgin Balloons
5. Virgin Games - Yes that right play with yourself and stay a Virgin! You might also loose a lot of money as it involves a gamble or two. Virgin Games
6. Virgin Drinks - Yes thats right pure, unadolterated, Virgin Vodka! It's so pure they called it Virgin! Virgin Drinks
7. Vfestival - Probably a good place to lose your Virginity, hence the only Virgin branded company without Virgin in the title. The Vfestival
8. Virgin Megastore - Yep it still exists… if you are one of our friends over the pond American, it's Zavvi for us Brits! Virgin Megastore and Zavvi in the UK
9. Virgin Earth - Thats right the Bearded Wonder has built a new planet for us all to live on. Sorry, thats a lie, but he is offering a good wedge of cash if you can help stop global warming. Virgin Earth
10. Virgin Nigeria - Just in case the guy that wins Virgin Earth suggests stopping flying to save on CO2 emmission, the Bearded Wonder setup another Airline of course, this time in Nigeria. Virgin Nigeria

Branson has gone and pulled it out of the bag, the sweater wearing bearded wonder has managed to appease his Flight Crew and got them to accept a pay deal worth a 4.8% increase this year followed by an inflation level increase next year. Quite how he has gone and done it, i guess we will never know. Perhaps his staff will now get a few nights at Necker Island as part of there deal?

Virgin Flight Crew might not be the best paid in the world but they certainly get the perks. Trust me having seen those Air Hostesses party on down in Miami, they sure know how to have fun and let there hair down. Coupled with a nice overnight allowance, multiple free or reduced flights for friends and family and no doubt plenty of other free or discounted Virgin goodies.

But then again they did used to get paid less than a flight attendant on Easyjet, so well done to them and congratulations to Sir Richard, on keeping Virgin flying.

With the impending strike action planned by some Virgin Atlantic Cabin crew, (Read the original BBC News article here) Sir Richard Branson is talking tough in his answer!

The planned strike (the first industial action in the airline's history) is due to start next Wednesday (09/01/2008 at 6am) for 48 hours each, and on Wednesday 16th January 2008, also from 6am for 48 hours.

"Unite union members say Virgin crews are underpaid compared with their counterparts at other airlines."(BBC News)

Sir Richard has condemned the strikers in a letter that was sent to the 4,800 cabin crew.

"For some of you, more pay than Virgin Atlantic can afford may be critical to your lifestyle and if that is the case you should consider working elsewhere."

The Virgin Atlantic flight, christened "Spice One", was leaving Los Angeles, with Baby Spice hobbling on crutches.

The jumbo was named by fans who had to vote for the name on the Spice Girls official website.
