Virgin are hoping to be the first commercial space travel operator.

I think you would be hard-pressed to find anyone in the world who hasn't once dreamed of going into space!!!

My question is - How much would you pay to go into space?

The answer from Virgin is $200,000 with a $20,000 deposit!!!!!

So is this just for the super-rich?  Or is there scope in the future to cater for the masses, or for people who don't have a spare $200,000 in their pockets!!!

The Virgin project is based on the Ansari X-Prize winning spaceship called SpaceShipOne.  The prize was awarded to Burt Rutan and Paul Allen who funded the original development.

The Virgin fleet will be using the SpaceShipOne design.  In what has been described as a shuttlecock descent, it looks amazing!
